Accommodation & MealsAccommodation is in comfortable student study bedrooms, which are located both around stunning tranquil Quads in Grade 1 listed buildings designed by the Victorian architect, William Butterfield, and in modern award winning buildings. Whilst not equipped to four star hotel standards - no televisions or trouser presses – the College provides clean and comfortable ensuite bedrooms with tea & coffee making facilities, towels, toiletries, telephones and internet access points. Meals are taken in the magnificent Dining Hall which can seat up to 300 people. It is one of the largest and most impressive in the University - especially since the wonderful ceiling has been restored by conservators, revealing the fine original coloured panels. Delegates can expect imaginative cuisine, cooked in the College's own kitchens using fresh ingredients and accompanied by an interesting choice of wines which have been selected to provide both quality and value. The College Bar is a contemporary Grade 2* listed glass building nestled in the pretty Hayward Quad with indoor and outdoor seating, and is open every day providing a relaxing space in colourful surroundings, for guests to unwind after a busy day. In addition to the normal bar drinks it offers a range of fresh coffees as well as snacks all at very reasonable prices. |
