Welcome
Dear Friends and Colleagues
The next European ISSHP Congress will be held this summer in Oxford, UK on Friday and Saturday, September 11th and 12th 2009. The venue has been chosen to mark a very special occasion – the retirement of Professor Chris Redman (a Past President of the Society), after working for nearly 40 years in the field of hypertension in pregnancy. As you will be aware, for all this time Chris has been a major player both in clinical and laboratory research and a significant contributor of ideas which have advanced the field. We have put together a scientific programme which we feel reflects Chris’s interests and contributions over the years and at the same time will bring you the latest developments in these key areas of research.
The meeting will be held in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of Keble College, Oxford in the award winning Sloane Robinson building. Accommodation will be in the College and a traditional Oxford Gala dinner will be held in Chris’s honour on the Saturday night – not to be missed. Being England in September, the sun will (of course) always shine!
The number of places is strictly limited to 200 so you are advised to book early to make sure you do not miss this very special occasion.
